Myth: It's Essential to Drink Eight Glasses of Water a Day
Eight glasses a day? It is just
modern theory (why 8, why not 7 or 9). Our bodies do need plenty of water - and
athletes might need more than most - but there's nothing magical about eight
glasses
Don't forget that water is found
in foods as well as beverages. Additionally flooding our body with water
meaning Diluting the Water soluble vitamins inside the body & hence
reducing their action in the body
Water has no natural minerals and
vitamins. Whereas fruits and vegetables have 90% water loaded with
minerals and vitamins
So, when you are consuming whole
fruits and vegetables, your requirement for water with minerals and vitamins is
getting fulfilled. Additionally, these days the foods that we have
these days absorbs more water. Hence, the concept of 8 glasses of water came into
being
