Myth: It's Easy to Exercise Off Extra Calories

Myth: It's Easy to Exercise Off Extra Calories

When at the gym, we run for a mile on a treadmill, & check how many calories we have just burned. It turns out to be only about 100 calories only.
That means we will have to run three miles to burn off the calories obtained by eating just six chicken nuggets. By adding a soda, we will have to run another 2.5 miles & having a small order of fries -- another two miles.

Vigorous exercise is important, But It's No Substitute For Making Healthy Food Choices, particularly vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and beans
